Utah Football

I always hate when summer comes to an end but I love this time of year because it means it is time for football. We love going to Utah football games! We are lucky enough to have season tickets with Tim and Brittany, our friends Kara and Matt, and some of their friends and family. It is always a great time (unless they lose).

We have been debating all summer whether or not we wanted to take Soph to a game. We decided that if we were ever going to this last Saturday was the time to do it. My sister, Tracy, is in town and was coming to the game with my parents so I figured if we got sick of taking care of Sophia we could send her over their way. She was definitely a handful but it was fun to have her with us.

Soph was prepared the night before the game in her Utah pajamas.

Sophia about to enjoy her first Red Vine courtesy of her Aunt Brittany.

She of course loved it!

Her favorite part of the game was watching the cars drive by outside of the stadium.

It was apparently a very long day for her. But Clint and I loved having her there! I am not sure how everyone else felt. I think from now on she will be watching the games on t.v. with her Grandma and Grandpa.

So I realized there was another exciting thing we did this summer. After 3 long years Dave Matthews finally returned to Salt Lake City! We were lucky enough to be up front in the pit. I was a little skeptical of being up there but it was great to be up close and personal with the band. It was an amazing concert! And once again it involved Brittany and Tim. If it weren't for you two we would have a very sad life!

Summer

I am sure that no one even looks at my blog because I NEVER update it. But if there is anyone out there who still checks it (Tracy), here you go.

Summer is now over and I have been trying to think of what we have been doing for the last 3 months. It was a very low key summer for us. We had a lot of great times with family and friends but I have no pictures to show for it.

I think the most exciting thing that we did was go swimming. And thank goodness Clint's sister, Brittany, asked to come to our pool or we probably would not have even done that!

Here are the few pictures that we took. I somehow didn't get a single picture of the Jones family (sorry Britt) but we had a great time hanging out with them.
